This weekend, Yin Garcia and I had the chance to go visit Frankie Acosta at the CEREC OnDemand Education Center in Murrieta, CA. This was a basic course put on by Sirona and I wasn’t sure if it would be too basic since we’ve had the inLab software for quite a while, but it was really great. We first met Frankie at Cerec 27 and a half, and I really love the attitude this guy has! He’s a great teacher and if you get a chance, you should check out one of his courses.
The course had a great turnout and we covered a lot of material in the 2 days we were there. Not only did we get to go over all the basic stuff, but we also got to dive into a couple cases that were just a little bit more advanced.
This week had been pretty tough at the lab – lots of stuff to get done – and I really wasn’t sure we were going to make it down for this. At one point on Wednesday, I was fully intent on not showing up. But we got everything done that we needed to, and made the drive down super early Thursday morning. I’m really glad we did. Frankie is someone I really think is awesome and it’s inspiring to see what he has done with the inLab system. I’m stoked to get into the lab and do some CERECing!!
