CEREC inLab training

Cerec TrainingThis weekend, Yin Garcia and I had the chance to go visit Frankie Acosta at the CEREC OnDemand Education Center in Murrieta, CA. This was a basic course put on by Sirona and I wasn’t sure if it would be too basic since we’ve had the inLab software for quite a while, but it was really great. We first met Frankie at Cerec 27 and a half, and I really love the attitude this guy has! He’s a great teacher and if you get a chance, you should check out one of his courses.

The course had a great turnout and we covered a lot of material in the 2 days we were there.  Not only did we get to go over all the basic stuff, but we also got to dive into a couple cases that were just a little bit more advanced.

This week had been pretty tough at the lab – lots of stuff to get done – and I really wasn’t sure we were going to make it down for this.  At one point on Wednesday, I was fully intent on not showing up.  But we got everything done that we needed to, and made the drive down super early Thursday morning.  I’m really glad we did.  Frankie is someone I really think is awesome and it’s inspiring to see what he has done with the inLab system.  I’m stoked to get into the lab and do some CERECing!!

Last Games of the 2012 Fall Season!

Today are the last games of the season – I can’t believe it has gone by so fast!!  I always look forward to this day – it’s a lot of fun to have the end of season parties with each of the teams and I enjoy looking back at all the pictures that have been taken throughout the season.  Being out on the field with the kids is a blast and I’m very thankful to my sister for letting me be a part of it.  This season was a lot of fun having Chris out there with us too!

I hope all the Crushers had a great time playing this year – everybody did an awesome job!!  Go Crushers!!

We started the 2012 Fall Soccer Season today and we had a great time!!  The 5-6 year old team started us out strong and won their game 2-0!!  Great game Crushers!!  The 7-9 year old team had a little bit tougher time since the other team scored a little bit more than us, but they played strong and played well together.  Especially the second half – as we continue on, I think this team is going to be very strong!!  The 10-12 year old team played great also – we lost the game 2-1, but they played great together.  The 13-14 year old team was also great – we played a really tough team and we were able to hold them to a 0-0 tie.  They played strong and looked great out there!!  It’s going to be a great season!!  Go Crushers!!

I was looking for ways tonight to import the previous blog posts I had previously done through the iWeb application when I came across this cool plugin.  It lets you link to your Instagram account, then everytime you take a picture on Instagram, it imports it into your blog for you.  This is way cool!!  You have the option to have it publish automatically, or just as a draft so you don’t necessarily have to post every single picture you take.  I love it!
